Events at MHF are delivered by a range of partners with different ticketing details and accessibility.
Find out more details below to ease your planning.
The events during MHF are delivered by a range of organisations from museums and archives to local history organisations and Blue Badge Guides. Many of them are voluntary organisations and rely on the commitment and dedication of their members.
The majority of the events during MHF are free. In the case of paid events, we have aimed to keep the price as low as possible and the fee is to pay for the time of the individual who is delivering the event or simply to cover costs. The majority of paid tickets also have a concessionary price for seniors (60+), children (under 16s), full-time students, job seekers and disabled people.
As there is limited capacity on many of the events, and we are expecting a high demand, it is advisable to book even for free events to ensure entry. Due to the nature of the festival, there are many different mechanisms for booking tickets. If you have any problems or require any further information contact the Festival team on 0161 306 1982 or email info@manchesterhistoriesfestival.org.uk
For free events booked through Eventbrite, you will be required to bring a copy of your printed e-ticket to each event you attend.
This brochure is available as a downloadable PDF from the MHF website. Large print format brochures are available on request from info@manchesterhistoriesfestival.org.uk
Access varies at the different venues and venues. Please contact the venue directly, look on the individual event page on the MHF website or contact the Festival team on 0161 306 1982 or info@manchesterhistoriesfestival.org.uk
