The Archaeology of Manchester's Origins

From Roman forts and roads, and medieval halls, to industrial workers housing and textile mills.  Staff from the University of Salford's Centre for Applied Archaeology will present a series of short talks on recent archaeological work carried out around Manchester. How is this changing our ideas of the origin's of the city?
