The Battle for the Ballot

The people's fight for the right to vote

People's History Museum's singer-songwriter Matt Hill, aka Quiet Loner, tells the stories of how working people came to have a vote from Peterloo to the suffragettes.

Using original songs alongside images and objects from the collections of the People's History Museum, this show crosses the centuries to show how the right to vote was won.
