Birley Fields Community Heritage Project: Digging Forgotten Hulme

Join in an archaeological dig at Birley Fields with archaeologists and historians from Manchester Metropolitan University. These participatory sessions will enable you to experience what it is all about. Get your hands dirty in the trenches uncovering what remains of the forgotten past from residential houses to the Industrial Revolution and medieval Jackson's Farm.
