Friday Films

Enjoy a relaxed Friday watching a series of short films produced by community organisations across Greater Manchester covering a wide range of subjects including:

  • Collyhurst & Moston Boxing Club and the story of boxer Len Johnson produced as part of MMU's Passions of Youth project;
  • an enJOY arts project about writer Elizabeth Gaskell produced by young women living near Elizabeth Gaskell House;
  • Private Trust and the story of sacrifices made during WW1 by residents of the Together Trust;
  • the story of London Road Fire Station presented by arts organisation PANDA.
  • Simply drop in and catch a few films as they are all under 20 minutes long.
