Manchester Histories Festival - 21 - 30 March 2014

LGBT History Open Day

Manchester's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history

The history of Manchester's LBGT community is an important part of the social and cultural history of the city and the North West. We hold records ranging from the 1880 drag ball in Hulme to the Campaign for Homosexual Equality in the 1960s to the campaign against Section 28 in the 1980s and 1990s!
