Manchester Histories Festival - 21 - 30 March 2014

The Lost Rivers of Manchester

The LRM is a collective interested in psychogeography, public space and uncovering the hidden voices and secret histories that make Manchester such a wonderful place. We do this through a variety of walks, derives and games that are held on the First Sunday of every month.

In March we will be exploring the hidden rivers of Manchester and discussing the impact water has had on the city's development. We will be looking for signs of culveted rivers and tracing the route about ground; it will not involve going underground or into water! We encourage everyone who comes along to contribute their own thoughts and experiences; we want to know how you think and feel about Manchester.
