Tim Cockitt will give a broad, and humorous, outline of Manchester’s military history … to include Romans, Vikings, possibly Dr. John Dee (occultist and spy), Righteous Roundheads, Rebellious Jacobites, a WW1 PoW, an airship, a V1, assorted Nazis … and the secret nuclear bunker … and most of it true!
The South Manchester Tactical Society are presenting this extra lecture in its annual programme to coincide with the Manchester Histories Festival.
