Manchester Histories Festival - 21 - 30 March 2014

Museum of Transport Open Day

The Museum of Transport opens its doors to transport you back through Manchester's road passenger past. Explore a range of Manchester-themed displays, artefacts, documents and images.

Costumed demonstrators will give visitors the opportunity to handle ticket machines and will also give short presentations on local transport history.

The Museum's normal attractions and facilities will be available, including the Library, Tea Room, and shop.

Leave your car behind and get to the Museum on a free heritage bus ride from Albert Square, also calling at the Museum of Science and Industry and the People's History Museum.

The Museum is fully accessible with accessible parking and free on street parking.
