Dr Max Jones, author of The Last Great Quest, editor of the Oxford World’s Classics edition of Scott’s last Journals and lecturer at The University of Manchester, is one of our leading polar historians reveals for the first time the leading roles which the citizens of Manchester played in Scott’s last expedition.
The talk is delivered in partnership with the Royal Geographic Society.
