Yemeni Roots, Salford Lives Preview

A preview of the Yemeni Roots, Salford Lives Exhibition with a presentation by a local community member. Light refreshments will be available.

Based on the oral history project currently taking place with the Yemeni community in Eccles, the exhibition includes photographs, selected extracts from oral testimonies and other archival material. The exhibition describes aspects of the history of the Yemeni community in Eccles from the 1950s to the present. Central themes include working lives, leisure-time and milestones in building the community.
